A 19-year-old student was referred with a history of increasing anxiety attacks, palpitations and breathlessness. Blood pressure and urinary catecholamine levels were elevated. MRI imaging confirmed a para-aortic paraganglionoma and MIBG scan highlighted bony metastases.
